Precautions for Purchasing and using Crystal glass bottles

[ September 18, 2026 ]

Crystal glass bottles are lustrous, transparent and have a strong refraction effect. They are often used for packaging high-end spirits, perfumes and fine souvenirs. They are divided into lead-free crystal and lead-containing crystal. Lead-free crystal material is preferred for food packaging.

When purchasing, observe the refraction luster of the bottle body. High-quality crystal glass has a bright and vivid luster. Carefully check the bottle body for any water ripples, stones or scratches. Containers used for food and beverages must request relevant food contact test reports. For custom mold opening, it is necessary to confirm the dimensional tolerance and minimum order quantity in advance. After sample verification of the bottle shape weight and engraving effect, mass production can be arranged.

Crystal glass is a fragile item. During transportation, it needs to be cushioned and protected. The stacking height should not exceed 3 meters, and measures should be taken to prevent rain and moisture. Store the bottle in a cool indoor environment, away from sharp objects, to prevent the surface of the bottle from being scratched.

The filling process strictly controls the temperature difference between hot and cold. A large temperature difference can easily cause the bottle to crack. Lead-containing crystal glass is not suitable for long-term storage of acidic materials to avoid the risk of metal precipitation. Use a soft sponge for cleaning. Do not use hard tools to polish the bottle body.

When recycling, separate and sort ordinary glass, remove cracked or damaged bottle bodies, and take off labels and accessories to ensure the quality of recycled raw materials.
